A follow-up to 2004's Someday Coming Down, Someday Coming Round featured many of the bands from the first, with an eye to like-minded bands from the Pacific Northwest. Santa Cruz-affiliated acts featured on the compilation included Mule Train, the Devil Makes Three, the Jewgrass Boys, Boaz Vilozny, the Younger Brothers, Kids on the Couch, Steven Griswold, and Meg Woodruff.
